Thirty-Something & Single started as a collection of telephone calls among three friends, two women and one man in their thirties.
They made the mistake of openly discussing their Friday night dates/nightmares on a fuzzy Saturday morning. (Well, a hangover fuzzy for two of them, one was just sulking in regret). After divulging, “lame” make out sessions, flinging bras and threesome propositions…
Sarah Rafael realized that they all had one thing in common, they were all thirty-something & dating. The stories were funny, warped and yet enlightening. She was convinced many more existed (well hoped that they weren’t the only ones in single misery), so she decided to share the experiences.
Eventually her assumptions were confirmed, the blog created a following among MySpace users and has become a monthly blog that portrays true thirty-something & single stories contributed by many readers but written by the blogger to keep all involved anonymous but still promiscuous, daring to tell all (even mundane events) and dreading the next date!
